Wow!! So let me start by talking about my appointment last Thursday. It was my 36 week appointment and it was with Dr. McKernans head nurse. Nurse Betty to be exact. She talked to me about whats going to happen during labor and all that stuff. She then checked my cervix and I was only dialated a fingertip. So not much at all.
Today I had my 37 week appointment with Dr. McKernan. He checked me and I was dialated to 1cm. So thats pretty good for 5 days. Hopefully by the time I get induced next week I'll be a 2 or a 3!! And yeah, you heard right. I'm getting induced next week!! Ahhh!! I go in hopefully sometime next Wednesday night so baby Jack will be here on Thursday May 6th!!! He's going to be a little Taurus baby!! Which is good because I dont think I could handle another Gemini Sienna hahahaha!
"The Taurus ( April 21 - May 21) Earth sign
Taurian babies are pleasant, usually quiet and calm. They are sometimes a little shy, and they dislike being the centre of attention but respond well to affection, and return a great deal of affection. Although outbreaks are rare, the baby dislikes being opposed and can be stubborn about getting her own way.
A young Taurus will work steadily at a task. These babies will be occupied a long time with simple tasks and do the same with great deal of attention.
Do not force the taurian child to do something. This will make them stubborn, tell them with love and affection and they will charm you with their goodness.
With their charming nature, they will attract a lot of adults especially those of the opposite sex. Shows of physical affection toward your child are essential, but take care not to over do the same. They are sensitive to their surroundings and they will thrive in harmonious settings of both color and sound. Soft sounds and shades of pink and blue will be calming to your baby.
They are keen learners and once learnt something will not be forgotten. Encourage your child to express themselves through words, music or art because there will be a tendency to hide true feelings."
I am so excited. There is still a few things I need to pick up at the store and I still have to pack. But I am so so so excited to finally have my little boy here!!

Time is almost running out
Last night, Jeff and I dropped Sienna off at my moms house and he and I went on a tour of the maternity ward at our hospital. Although I did have Sienna at that hospital, I am so glad we did the tour. They had completely remodeled!! I wouldve been so lost! One good thing I found out is that they allow us to bring popsicles to eat while I'm in labor. Hallelulah!!! I wish I wouldve known that last time... The one big bummer about this time is that we dont have the option anymore to send the baby to the nursery. With Sienna, I had her in my room for most of the day and sent her to the nursery at night so I could sleep. Not this time. Now we have to keep him in our room the whole time. Oh well. At least I'm sleeping better at this point than I did when I was pregnant with Sienna. The tour made both of us super excited to see our little man.
This morning I had my 34 week appointment. We had an ultrasound down to measure his weight. He is 5lbs 13oz and is in the 80th percentile which the Dr said is just about right for his gestational age. I still will be induced early cause of my small pelvis. The Dr said that if he induce at 38 weeks, he'll be around 7lbs 10oz and at 39 weeks he'll be around 8lbs 3oz. I like the 7lbs better!!
I cant believe that in just 4 weeks I could be induced!! 4 weeks!! Thats nothing!! I have my 36 week appointment on April 22nd with his nurse practitioner and than the following Tusday I have my 37 week appointment with the Dr. At that appointment he could tell me that he's inducing me the next week! Ah I cannot believe it!
The above picture is from todays appointment. He looks like a little angel :-)

Really??
I dont know how I missed making a post in March. Oh well.
I had my 30 week appointment on March 11th. We had the 3D ultrasound done. It was amazing!! My little man is getting so big. The Dr told us that he will be inducing me at least a week early, making my due date May 10th. After the appointment we went to the hospital to get registered.
We went to Utah the weekend of March 19th for my baby shower. It was such a beautiful special day. I got so much great stuff and so many people came! I feel so blessed to have a family who loves me and having married into a family that loves me just as much is really incredible. I am so lucky and so thankful. I dont have any pictures of the baby shower unfortunetly.
I had my 32 week appointment on March 25th. It was a short appointment. He did schedule me another ultrasound before my next appointment to see how big he has gotten. I'm hoping he makes an induction date.
My Relief Society visiting teachers came over last Tuesday. Amy has a almost 1 year old little girl named Emmy and she is due with her second baby this September. Karen has a almost 2 year old named Christina. Sienna is so cute with both these girls. Sienna calls Christina, Christy-Sienna. haha. After they went home Sienna turned to me and asked "Where'd my friends go?" It was so cute. I was supposed to take Sienna to the library on Thursday to meet up with Karen and Christina but my lazy pregnant butt couldnt do it.
Thursday night my mom came over and took Sienna to California with her. It was a much needed break for Jeff and I. Although I now realize how much of a mom I am. I didnt feel like myself the whole weekend because she wasnt with me. Pathetic I know. She came home Saturday night and I was so happy to see her!!
Sunday we woke up and Sienna found all her easter eggs. She didnt sleep well so she was SUPER cranky! Around 1:45pm we went to my moms house and had a great time. My sister and her boyfriend came over and had dinner with us. Overall it was a very lovely Easter.
The great news for yesterday is..... I GOT MY NEW CAR!! I love it so much. Its a 2006 Ford Expedition. I love love love to drive it! I cannot wait for a roadtrip.
